WY-325 and WY-325ES Color Display Terminal The WY-325/WY-325 ES general purpose terminal offers vivid color at traditional monochrome prices. Users of the WY-150 terminal or such pop- ular emulation modes as the WY-60, WY-50 and DEC VT220 now have a cost-effective, high-quality solution for color applications. Up to 16 colors (8 foreground and back- ground colors) combine with two intensity levels to improve the image of any general purpose terminal user. PLUG AND PLAY Current monochrome users can convert to color with no modification of the host application. Just set the proper emulation mode in setup, and select from one of the 10 predefined color palettes through a local keyboard sequence. The application can then be fine-tuned to take advantage of the broad capabilities of the terminal. MULTIPLE EMULATION MODES FOR A VARIETY OF HOST ENVIRONMENTS Like our general purpose monochrome products, the WY-325/WY-325ES is compatible with a wide variety of host environments such as UNIX, XENIX, Multi-user DOS, PICK and countless others. The full line of Wyse keyboards is available to best complement the operating system and applications used. WYSE ERGONOMICS AND EMISSIONS STANDARDS AS always, Wyse continues to make improvements in ergonomics and emissions. The WY-325ES conforms to the Swedish MPR 1990:10 guidelines for electrostatic, very low- and extremely low-frequency electro- magnetic emissions. All versions come standard with an externally switchable power supply to easily convert between 120 and 230 volts. The user-accessible horizontal and vertical adjustments allow proper screen alignment without removing the cover. WYSE HAS IT ALL The WY-325 / WY-325 ES color terminal is the first truly afford- able color terminal designed specifically for monochrome users. The plug and play design makes it easy to convert from the monochrome world and step up to color.
