Switch 4: Word Length - ON or (1) = Bits (2 Stop Bits - No Parity)....OFF or (0) = 8 Bits (1 Stop Bit - No Parity).
[To access foreign language ASCII characters 128 through 255, the 8 bit mode must be selected.]
Switch 5: Compatible - ON or (1) = Prodigy....OFF or (0) = DMX400/DMX430.
[ When in Prodigy compatibility mode, the label edge offset value changes to standard Prodigy label formats. Standard Prodigy label formats line up to the label edge instead of being 0.3 inches off.]
Switch 6: Present Sensor Option - ON or (1) = Enabled....OFF or (0) = Disabled.
[ When the Present Sensor option is added, the Printer can be configured for "one up " printing. With the sensor installed and enabled, the Printer will not print the next label in its internal buffer until the last label printed has been removed from the Printer.
Quantities of labels (printed one at a time) can still be requested by remote computing device.]
Switch 7: Batch - ON or (1) = Enabled....OFF or (0) = Disabled.
[ With Batch mode enabled, the Printer is placed directly in the Internal Batch Software program. The Printer must be connected to a terminal, or a PC with a terminal emulator program like the PC-BATCH labeling software program.]
Switch 8: Cutter - ON or (1) = Enabled....OFF or (0) = Disabled.
[ This switch enables the use of the Cutter option when installed. If selected and not installed the Printer will illuminate the Pause LED. When enabled the firmware will process cut commands from the host.]
